I agree - fine cutlery counts as a tool. I'm just expanding on the category - ANY tool, as long as they're quality tools.

i have a mailing list with many of my old college buddies on it. my friends send out stupid stuff like that 95% of the time, and the other 5% we actually have worthwhile discussions. :D

Robosapien's are cool, they dance and do kung foo etc....

BUT on a bicycle note...

I asked for the Rockgardn Fate gloves, stans tubeless, and an ankle brace. Simple, thoughtfull gifts :)

Yeah Ipods at $250 are out of the question...

Just think of some little things, tools, protective gear etc....that you wouldn't mind getting as a gift. If you're anything like me it's hard because I just buy myself things throughout the year and now christmas time comes around and I don't have a list :(

Hmm, she's a chick (at least we hope) so she won't want to give a gift unless she can shop for it, most bike tools and such, even the octodog would be mail order. I'd say you need something like a new razor, a few CD's or DVD's, some new sunglasses or something like that, something she'll actually enjoy shopping for and something where she actually has a couple of options to choose from rather than a page in a mailorder catalog.

Whoops, I was wrong, thought the smaller ipods were less than $200...

Anyway, I'm not sure all chicks like to shop for other people, I mean yeah most like to shop but usually just for themselves, if you can make it easy for her (mail order) I don't think she'll complain.
