Its Disco "Volante" meaning flying saucer in Spanish.
Great bike, troubled "company".
newer ones with lower leverage and reinforced headtubes were pretty nice.
I'd say avoid it because if you have a problem, you are screwed.

I loved my 2002 Disco, but with the current issues with Karpiel its hard to say now. They are however great bikes.
How bout this bike, for $1000 US, santa cruz super 8. 7inches in the front, 7 inches in the back.

While it wasn't as good as their self titled album, I think it was better than "California". Platypus was especially strong.
