:p

One day a fourth-grade teacher asked the children what their fathers did for a living. All the typical answers came up -- fireman, mechanic, businessman, salesman, doctor, lawyer, and so forth.

But little Billy was being uncharacteristically quiet, so when the teacher prodded him about his father, he replied, "My father's an exotic dancer in a gay cabaret and takes off all his clothes in front Of other men and they put money in his underwear. Sometimes, if the offer is really good, he will go home with some guy and make love with Him for money."

The teacher, obviously shaken by this statement, hurriedly set the other children to work on some exercises and then took little Billy aside to ask him, "Is that really true about your father?"

"No," the boy said, "He works for the Democratic National Committee and is helping to secure the nomination of Hillary Clinton, but I was too embarrassed to say that in front of the other kids."

The name Clinton strikes fear into all brainwashed Republicans. Hillary just makes normal folks feel a little nauseous.

I do like the fact that Hillary will almost certainly be anointed the Dim's presidential candidate in '08. That in itself will assure at least another 4 more years of republican control of the presidency.

And if the repubs run Condi Rice against her, we can garuntee the first third party candidate of my lifetime.

Plus Ralph Naders support base will double to 4%! :p

Mostly because many people have the same irrational, visceral reaction to Hillary that you do, yet they can't explain why. Can you explain why? That's what I would like to know.

I have this theory that the Republicans spent so much time and effort repeatedly villifying the Clintons (both of them without ever giving reasons why) that people simply accepted it because they heard it so much. Yet, no one seems to know why they hate Hillary so much.

Edit: Or Bill for that matter.

What does it really matter, the Dims will run her and lose... again.

It's a good thing actually.

I'd say Condi will win that one pretty easily... and finally we can have a black woman* as President of the US. A proud day that will be.

Condi will not be president because of one major fact, it is not that she is black or female but she is single. Not to mention I doubt this country would elect a black person or a woman just yet.

Americans aren't ready for a woman to be president, and even less ready to have a black president.

Sad but true.

Politics and character aside, I believe all the Red States from the last two elections will continue voting Red unless there is a superhero of a Democratic candidate emerges in 2008.

I cannot say Hillary would be better or worse than Bill Clinton. Their qualifications are similar, except for one's a Senator and the other was a Governor. But little facts like she appears to be weak on the military and she seems to be in a sham marriage is not going to be a big winner in the Heartland.

The fact that she is the self-annointed face of the Liberal Democratic party is not going to win the election.

A "black woman*"?

What's with the asterisk? And why would you be crowing about having a black woman? I have trouble believing that you would genuinely be excited about that.

Yeah, the Reps. could put a block of wood up for their candidate and probably still take the red states.

I think Condi is a better "female" candidate. I think she would appeal to many liberals because she appears to be a moderating force in the White House. Conservatives cannot criticize the ex-NSA Advisor for being soft.

I think many people do not care if a candidiate is black, as long as that person is not running as the "Black" candidate, a la Al Sharpton.

Highlight the "empty" area of his post. The * is quite humorous and clever.

I so hope two women run. I'd love for some change... one of 'em wins or we get the 3rd party.

PS: interesting comment made about Condi and how being single is probably more of a factor than black or female.

Not really. Bill was a pimp. How could you not like that guy. HIllary's done a fine job of scaring America all on her own.

No, I saw it. I didn't think it was humorous or clever.

Actually it would be great if they ran against each other for pres, if only for the huge number of awesome facial expression pics that would result from the debates.
