Id say an Ellsworth Specialist but its just cause I have one and its great, but the price is ridonculous so my 2nd option would be a Yeti dj size short for ya. It is one of the best looking hardtail out there, has replaceable dropouts, a perfect geometry for what you plan to do with it. You can probably find last years all black color scheme for cheap online or on ebay!

Given your name, I'd say a Commencal Absolut 4x

    ya, i think i found it http://www.ridemonkey.com/classifieds/showproduct.php?product=10571&cat=500
:spam: but seriously, atomlabs are sick. also the transition vagrant, but it is a little heavy/burly. does sinister still make the dna? that was a sweet frame. azonic steelheads have a pretty sweet geo and they're dirt cheap.
