Bike noises .. ussually no biggie...sometimes annoying.
Can ya relate to this one?
Last few rides ... some creaking noise has been getting worse.
Sounds like it is coming from the top mount of the shock.
Put my ear down close ...oh yea ..def right there.
Is it the shock ...cracked frame ... wtf???
Do all sorts of things to fix it ... no good.
Finally bow to the keyboard and inquire the all-knowing Omnipotent InterWeb.
I learn ...Bike noise could be spokes, pedals, BB, headset, brakes, bad knees, stiff neck, handlebars, pivot joints ,and maybe seat post...and are not always where you hear the sound.
Dawned on me ...I switch the seat post few weeks back.
(I'm not the brightest bulb on the tree)
Seemed fine ...cleaned and greased it today ... ureka ..no more squeek!
