Raceface is calling the latest alloy in its rack of blanks Optim-al. And it is what exactly? I don't suppose it's a lithium-aluminium alloy like Reynolds' x-100?
the other thing that bothers me about thier blurb on "optim-al" is that it appears that RF is not concerned whatsoever, about fatigue with thier cranks. With all the crazy forces on a crank all day I'm quite surprised it doesn't seem to matter. maybe i'm just reading it wrong?
