Ok, let's all have a laugh.......

As you know, I had an excellent week of vacation to Phoenix/Mexico. I did develop a raspy cough, and it has stayed with me for the past 10 days. It has also grown to plug up my ears, making it difficult to hear properly (so if you're going to reply, reply loudly, please). Yes, I did go see my doc, and she gave me some antibiotics, as well as "drink lots of water, take some musinex, and give it 10days to clear up". Well, it has not improved, and I'm a bit concerned, to say the least. It feels best when I stand on my head, and my ears do drain a bit then. Yet it doesn't go away.

So clean the grease off your hands, get out your ball-peen hammers, and help me understand why I'm having trouble hearing all of you................

Doesn't DirtMcGirk live in the vicinity ? Probably caught it from him.
So about that....

Impossible. I forgot to call and arrange a, um, meeting with him.............
Evidently the lord, or my lord Satan, has a sense of humor.
I have that same cold. Its really ****ing up my riding weekend right now, and its looking to derail some of the riding adventure I'm having next weekend.

Mexican Hooker Flu.

The only known cure is the following multistep process. Be very careful not to touch your eyes during this process. Crush a habanero with your bare hands, drop it in a shot of REAL tequila (not Quervo, Pepe Lopes, or Patron) and shoot it. Repeat. As soon as you take the second shot, masturbate violently to get the oil good and rubbed in. At this point, you are cured.

First off, I think the habanero idea will work better than what I'm about to describe......

We have this clinic at work (go ahead, post degrading comments now), and since it has been the cheaper (meaning, I'll get what I pay for) route for me, I go to them, not once, but twice, to get my clogged ears fixed. I wonder why it's so important to be able to hear players/dealers in a casino? First visit prescribes amoxycillin, mucines, and sudafed to get me cleared up. Does not work, so second visit gives me an inhaler and what is claimed to be a stronger antibiotic. 2 visits in 9 days, out $165, and my hearing has not improved. Not only do I plan to discuss this with whoever is in charge at the rathole, but I also made an appointment with a REAL ear/nose/throat specialist, though it's not for 2 weeks.

So now I can't hear, a bit ago some accupuncture one of them performed has screwed up my thumb, and I was on a BP med that didn't work for 18mos until they put me on something stronger that has worked for the past several months. How moronic do I have to be to see the writing on the walls.............. 3 strikes and I need to be out of there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think you're sick because you went back to work after an awesome vacation... maybe you have to go back to get better?

Turns out my issue was a raging case of pneumonia. Made trying to surf and ride in San Diego a great time. Ask Lovebunny how healthy I sounded. Just got home from the UC with a huge shot of antibiotics in my ass, and a few new Rx's to go fill.
