but every time i go i always choose the wrong crappy movie and waste 7 bucks. I think the last good movie i saw was the Big Lebowski.

and sugestions besides, lock stock and 2 smoking barels, snatch or boondock saints. Have seen the 2 big epics too.

There's thousands of great movies out there, you just have to not listen to advice like that given in the post I just quoted. Cheap, unrealistic, overproduced BS is cinematic masturbation... it tides you over, but it just aint the real thing.

Nicholas Cage has done a few good movies. Not saying I would count "Con Air" or the others on that list among them. I mean, seriously, aren't all those movies made by the king asshat himself, Jerry Bruckheimer?

Yes they are. Adapatation is probably his best movie, but I chalk that more up to the director (Being John Malkovic, Eternal Sunshsine of the Spotless Mind) that to good old Nick himself. His new movie "National Treasure" looks like a real turd sandwich, produced by Schuckhiemer himself.

The first three movies you listed are my three worst favorite of all time.

fourth and fifth are great.

don't know 6th.

Good one to rent, Ju-On, it's the original version of the Grudge. I don't get scared by movies.

Check out this movie called "Way of the Gun". Its got Benicio del Toro and Ryan Phillipe in it. Its about these 2 guys who kidnap a business tycoon's surrogate mother and hold the baby and her for ransom. Doesnt sound like much, but it has a KICK ARSE ending.
