Good call, I'm running 26's and I should have stated that. I'm just comparing. My little problem with hitting my forward foot in x-ups and barspins bothers me and I'm wanting to maybe take care of that by going down to 170's. Not really sure what that will do for feel, but right now I have 180's on my 20, 175's on my 26, and I'm not even sure whats on my fixie.

I have an Atomlab Aircorp hub, 175 Wombolt cranks, 30-13 gearing on 26".

Sometimes I get a slight buzz on x-ups, but my TT is pretty long, 23" effective.

170s should be fine, to me crank length doesn't matter that much unless you're racing.

I agree, if I was just flowing downhill, or jumping where you don't need to pedal. I still ride that bike on trails sometimes and its nice to have the leverage. But... with luck the 170's will keep things happy.

25t eastern medusa sprocket on profile 170's with a woodman ss rear, 12T odyssey cog. 170's are fine, I could probably go 165's on the jumper

Atomlab Aircorp SS rear, 15T cog.

I really want the new Vendettas with a 28T Deity sprocket though.
