Florida roads are one of the deadliest places for peds and bikes. It happens all the time.

I have noticed the disturbing habit of drivers hanging the right side of their car into the bike lane when behind another car. Which means you can't see what's in the bike lane until you hit it. Then you get out and tell everyone it's not your fault. Idiots.

Carmageddon.

In addition to the geezers who have no business driving (you wouldn't believe the sh!t I see) people just get complacent because the roads are flat and well maintained and you can haul ass everywhere.

Walking on the wrong side of the road (supposed to be facing traffic), and from the looks of that picture, no reflective gear, and the driver wasn't charged with either inattentive driving nor DWI, and someone had been killed walking along that stretch of road late at night only a couple months ago.......

So I'd say "Darwin"?

edit: ...and it's a 2-lane highway, and the speed limit is 55mph, and...
edit 2: ...and there was a bike path (lane?) on the opposite side, the side he should have been walking on...
