Well... I have a new bike comming in soon and my current bike is a bighit with a PUSHed RC and a Super T and some arrow racing wheels. A friend and I were thinking that I should get some lighter wheels and put on a dirt jumper, and reduce the amount of rear travel and make it into a long travel trail bike. I really love the bike and don't want to sell it. Would that be a good idea to make it a trail bike and keep the Super T for spare parts?

i have a freiend (bikin beast) who did the same thing but added a air shock with shorter stroke and used it for mtn x it was pretty sick. i think he also ran a 26er out back with a larsen 2.0 or 1.9
