Im only 12 years old and want to get started into dirt jumping. Im currently paying of an xc bike so im financialy low. I cant afford to go out and buy a nice dj bike. i was thinking maybe a decent bmx bike would be better but i dont know. my birthday is coming up next week so i should have around $150 to spend on a bike. What should i do?

Save that money. You're right about a BMX being a cheaper better way to start jumping, but you won't find anything even passable, new or used, for $150.

At 12 you need a bmx. Check out Craigslist for a bike on the cheap.
