I have a mongoose dj from wal mart...(I kno I kno cheap) I wanted to make sure I liked what I was getting into before I dumped a bunch of cash on a bike...any way im into it now and in the process of building a Frankenstein bike...my next purchase is forks. I want to upgrade from rigid to suspension. im at a loss for what to get. I mainly ride park. Rays MTB in Cleveland. OH

It's not worth putting a replacement fork on that bike. Time to shop Craigslist or Ebay for a competent used bike.
what JBP and BigBoi said. take the money you want to spend on a fork and put it towards a real bike.
