I'm guessing since ad revenues have increased and giveaways are now badazz it wasn't some Joe off the street...

A bike company purchasing this site would make sense, but of course it would have to be kept hush...

I don't understand: what do you want to know?

RM got bought. The company that bought it is letting everything continue normally, except now there's a little more additional content (as evidenced by the front page having reviews and stuff).

Nobody knows the future but I'd say six months of status quo is a pretty good indication that they're not going to come to your homes and administer electric nut torture until you cough up a joining fee.
