Caprese!! 
What to do with the basil growing in the sunroom.....?

That's the one of only 3 ways that I can stomach tomatos.SkaredShtles said:Caprese!!
My favorite thing to do with fresh basil:
Pesto:
1/3 c minced fresh basil
1/4 c minced fresh parsley (italian flatleaf)
1/4 c grated parmesan cheese
1/2 tsp salt
1 garlic clove, quartered
1/8 tsp nutmeg
1/3 c olive oil
Put it in a blender or food processor and mix it up on low.

I actually prefer my caprese sans balsamic - the vinegar is a bit too strong a taste to go with it, IMO. I *do* drizzle some Tuscan extra virgin on it, though....Brian HCM#1 said:Pour a little balsamic vinegar over that and we're good
