Looking to buy a bit of upgrades for my V10 in the next week or so, and have about $200 to spend. Right now my bike is in a non complete state as I stole the brakes and chainguide to finish my hardtail. I can get most things at cost so thats why Im looking at certain things that normally cost more.
Option #1:
Buy front hadley hub to match rear for $120, build it up on my wobbly mystery brand front hub RhynoLite. If I do this, I'll also get either a MRP Slalom or E.13 SRS and put the brakes from my hardtail back onto it.
Option #2:
Buy 8" Hayes Mags for the V-10 and thatd be it till I get mroe money.
Option #3: Take brakes back from my hardtail, get chainguide, Sram X.9 derailleur, Sram X.7 shifter

Im still open to other things but thats' what I'm currently thinking. I've already ordered some Gold Bonz Levers to match my TransGold V10 and gold ProTaper bars. I'm not really going for the most budget friendly things since dh season is over in colorado, right now its trying to get the best parts that are mid-upper price range without having to sell a nut in order to afford it all.

option one and get the e13 srs and get them brakes bake on that bike man. no question bout it. its never a bad thing to have an extra wheelset lying round for when you taco those. so option one all the way. then go with option 2 when you get the money. :thumb:

Do you really need a matching front wheel, especially an expensive one when you don't have a lot of money? Remember it's a FRONT wheel, no big deal in the type of hub. You can build up a Hayes front wheel for less than the price of the Hadley hub.

Sounds like you're in more need of a working bike, so I'd go with Option 2.
