What time should I be there?

You need another starch...maybe scalloped potatoes?

Do you have to supply drinks too?

Dancin' over rocks n' roots!
Sounds pretty good! Are you cooking everything? I have an easy and delicious recipe for homemade mac-n-cheese if you'd like it. I also have a nice and easy cold taco dip recipe for apps. I tend to do cookies and cheesecake for X-mas dessert, but pies are tasty too ;)

Cold Taco Dip

Mix until smooth, 2 8oz. pkgs cream cheese (let it get to room temp before you mix it as it blends easier) with 1 16 oz. container sour cream and 1 package of your favorite taco seasoning. (I generally mix this up the night before and then assemble the next day so it has time to get to it's full flavor).

Spread the above mix about 1/4 inch thick on a throw-away pizza tray (this should be enough for 2 large trays).

Top with a little of your favorite salsa (just enough to cover).
Next, top with finely chopped lettuce, tomatos, peppers, onions, olives, etc. (whatever you like)
Finally, top with shredded cheddar or taco blend cheese and sprinkle the top with Chili Powder.

Dip with Tortilla chips or Fritos.

I'll add the mac-n-cheese recipe tonight.

OK...here's my mac-n-cheese recipe (no nutmeg though)

2 cups uncooked elbow macaroni (~7 oz.)
1/4 cup margarine or butter
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. ground mustard
1/4 tsp. worcestershire sauce
2 cups milk
2 cups shredded or cubed sharp cheddar cheese (8 oz.) or pepper jack cheese if you like spicy foods (I have also done 1/2 cheddar/ 1/2 pepper jack too)
plain bread crumbs (optional)

1. Heat oven to 350
2. Cook macaroni as directed on package.
3. While macaroni is cooking, melt margarine in 3-qt. saucepan over low heat. Stir in flour, salt, pepper, mustart and Worcestershire sauce. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until mixture is smooth and bubbly; remove from heat.
4. Stir in milk. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly. Boil 1 minute and then stir in cheese. Cook, stirring occasionally, until cheese is melted.
5. Drain macaroni. Gently stir macaroni into cheese sauce. Pour into ungreased 2-qt casserole dish. Top with plain breadcrumbs. Bake uncovered 20-25 minutes or until bubbly.

Makes about 6 3/4 cup servings.
