Just tried the new tld lid on this weekend.
First impressions-
It's way lighter than I thought.
It's ridiculously comfortable.
The current paint scheme doesn't look goofy in person.
At this point I would totally get one.

medium d3, and cut the plastic strip out that is attached to the front of the helmet liner, along your forehead.
I just measured my head at 22.75, and that puts me in a large according to TLD's sizing chart. But I got a line on a medium that I want, so if you say medium, I am in.
I do understand what he is aiming at. But did you/he even consider that Urge doesn't want to rip-off a TLD helmet? They found their own, unique styling as does Lazer and POC. And by having people like Barel using their helmets people buy them like sliced bread. Similar marketing as TLD: whatever the pros use will sell.

I wore M/L D2s for years and have a Large D3. I still had to remove some things to get it to fit.

At least here in Finland the Urge fullface helmets are pretty popular, right up there with the TLD.
yea i can count on one hand the number i've personally seen in use stateside
newsflash: the us are not always the center of the world
So are you more of a hello kitty, superhero, metal flake, or standard moto/retro moto kinda guy? Face shield or goggles?

Yes, but moto shops are low on totem pole for the A1, if thats what you are talking about. Until we get caught up with demand, its bike dealers only on A1, but if you mean D2/D3, yes, happens all the time.
Just FYI: the headache is not coming from hitting your head while drunk.
Already have a TLD Full face, I was asking about the A1. I'm not in a rush so maybe I'll wait till they're more readily available. Thanks.
Hey now, I don't know that I've ever called Stik. He's great at answering emails and I can't afford the A1, so all quiet on this end. Would love to try it on. Ahh, had a moto shop order me up a A1, said it was due on beginning of March, now it makes sense. Not in a rush for a new helmet, so I can wait.
