Agreed, and I hardly ever even look at most redbull helmets.prob one of the coolest lids i have ever seen.
No. It looks like it in that pic though. It also has no flames anywhere. I even checked inside thinking Troy Lee may have put them on the inside. I now question if its authentic.does that have teeth on the back?
It's not like standing trackside sweating for 3 hours results in serious wear and tear....unless your driver really sucks at pitting.Stik, Ferrari pit crew are wearing D2 open face lids - but you don't sell them anymore?
Yes, we still do them and we just started doing a D3 pit helmet, would be great for #enduro, but I have no interest in seeing them on bike people.Stik, Ferrari pit crew are wearing D2 open face lids - but you don't sell them anymore?
care to explain yourself?I have no interest in seeing them on bike people.
Interesting idea. Is there any chance of ever seeing a bucket lid or specific ski helmet by TLD?I would pick up D2/D3 pit helmet specifically for skiing if I could find one.
In Colorado we get lots of sunny days at high altitude so a visor to keep that off your face makes a lot of sense. Lots of big mountain rippers around here run D2/D3s full face.Having a visor on while skiing just sounds like a bad idea....like ice skating with a bottle in your back pocket.
Do you even know what skiing is?Having a visor on while skiing just sounds like a bad idea....like ice skating with a bottle in your back pocket.
Admittedly, alot of east coasters dont know big mountain skiing/snowboarding. After a dump at jackson or whistler, the lines being thrown down by locals are absurd. Saw more than a few full face and visors for sure.Do you even know what skiing is?
You hear about it in discussion around the shine still or tobackey store late at night? Skiing?
glad I'm not the only one that had this exact thoughtDo you even know what skiing is?

Who's imagining everyone rides on ice?Dear small minded ones. In our region, "ICE" skiing is more the norm, ...
Next time you go, check google maps. I think you might be trying to ski at a hockey rink...Narrow, overcrowded and icey.
And check the camera footage too. You may just suck at it.Next time you go, check google maps. I think you might be trying to ski at a hockey rink...
They have already been updated for 2014 so no. The xl and xxl have the same shell while the s/m/l have the same shell. So no the xl cheek pads and liner wont fit in the large shell.Resurrecting this thread.
I'm in the market for a new lid, and contemplating another D3. Does anyone know if the paint jobs are going to be updated soon - kinda looks like it by all the clearance sales and limited availability at the moment (at least in the UK that is) ?
Also, just wanted to find out whether the D3's XL cheekpads and liner will fit inside the L shell?

So, not really accurate thenThey have already been updated for 2014 so no.
Just landed. Fit is perfect and I can see the medium/large fitting a wide range of melons with all the adjustments. Its comfortable and really hugs your head. It hardly even moves on your head even when unstrapped. I will slide around in the mud on it tomorrow for a proper test.
