No, but it IS how he says that your question is so ludicrously stupid and has been answered so many times, that it's not even worthy of an intelligent or well thought out response.

Hey I saw one of your Transcend riders at Diablo this weekend rippin' it up.
I gave him extra time to complete the task. ADD and all...

Sweet, I wonder who the heck went to diablo this weekend??? hmm.

May have been julian, he doesn't actually ride for us. We hooked him up with a cheap frame in our team colors awhile ago. I think he may have an older jersey as well, that kid rips.

Ok can't we just answer a simple question. A floating brake mount corrects the brake-jack issues that some designs have. As shocks have improved thru the years many bike builders have done away with it. Some like Cannondale have refined it. For many pro level racers many have ditched it in favor of saving weight(it's main disadvantage). Answer: To better braking in the rough :thumb: Many things get talked about over and over on this board ALL THE TIME. Let's make other people feel welcome and not bash them because you feel the need to make yourself feel better or hell just got up this morning and felt like derailing a thread :nope:

There were no personal insults in this thread until you called Westy stupid...

why don't we post instructions on how to use a search function and leave it tacked to the top by ridemonkey?

BTW, the search function is on the third linky just above this thread. Click on it and enter in these words: floater brake.

You'll get a bunch of hits.

I call myself enough names to not hear other people enforce what I already know. We ALL do dumb things, ask dumb questions. In aviation there are NO dumb questions just dumb answers.

Tahoe,
What do you fly? My grandfather and I do quite a few cross country trips in his '72 Piper PA-28, with the 160hp engine. Finally had the interior re-upholstered, and new seats. The factory seats were a pain in the ass, literally. I love it, hopefully be getting my license in a few years.

from DW, and you. Both of you have commented that the parallelogram on the floater is not at the optimum placement for the Gemini and that it probably does more for the metal state of the rider then actual braking performance. But then again, I just read it on the internet, so please disregard me.
i was agreeing with you, i was wondering where dhtahoe got the idea that Cannondale was somehow at the forefront of rear brake design.
