So every few years I hear rumors that Sand Hill Ranch in Brentwood CA is closing/being sold/exploding. I am hearing these rumors again. Any East Bay Monkeys got the scoop on this?

I don't make it out there very often but when I do it's always fun. It would be a bummer to see it go especially since I just moved to Livermore.

They'll open at some point, but by the time you find out about it they will be closed again. Most people I know only pay attention the month leading up to Sea Otter.

It would be nice to see them on a set schedule and promote it a little more, although I do realize it's tough for them to make enough money to be worth while.

Bicycle practice:

The Bicycle Practice Area is closed until further notice.
Sand Hill is up for sale and we're not sure if the new
owners will want to continue with a Bicycle Park. Right now
we're on our summer break, so if anything changes I will
update this site.

The annual Race 4 Tara benefit will be October 10th weekend,
and will be a DownHill at NorthStar instead of a 4-cross at
Sand Hill. Stay tuned...
