First we had rage against the Garden (audioslave)

Now we have Guns and pilots (velvet revolver)

Didnt these guys do enough coke in the 80's/90's to just
disappear and fade away instead of reincarnating
themselves with members of other defuct bands

Soon we will have Rose Jovi

Musicians reforming into different bands is nothing new. Alot of times musicians just go on to have solo careers. And sometimes bands keep the same name but only have one member of the original band.
If you don't like what's on the radio or t.v. support your local music scene and/or find some independant music you dig.

So? I happen to like both bands? So their first bands didn't make the long haul.So they shouldn't ever make music again?I guess if wherever you work closes you will never work again.

It boils a lot down to this, would you prefer these bands or more of those mass produced wanna-be teenager media-ho American/Australian/UK/Bangladesh/Nepal/backwoods mongolia Idols. :stosh:

I know what I'd be preferring. :thumb:

BTW, just have to say Grinspoon rocked last weekend, I was deaf for most of this week because of them!

Heard of 'em. Problem is I'm now in Whyalla. South Australia mate, long way from Sydney.

Dunno why Grinspoon played here

But, off to the Second Test v the Kiwis this weekend. Taking the Subaru out for a bit of a run, see if I can't get a speding fine again!

dude; what skook said: check out the local stuff. no idea what music you like, but there is a pretty good amount of local music (of all types) on the front range, live and recorded. plenty of good venues, as well.
some very good indie stuff happening. not that that is anything new, anywhere.

If you don't like it, don't listen to it.

I've seen Audioslave live and I have Velvet Revolver's cd in my car right now. Both bands rock in my opinion.
