Everyone I know from Penn. is well armed, very well armed.

I know little of Phillies economics but crime tends to follow poverty and unemployement. I could only find numbers into early 2004 but the unemployement rate is pretty high for the area 8% or so, it would be interesting to see how that breaks down as far as economic status, ie out of work marketing executives or factory workers.

Philly - City of Brotherly Love!!! Bwhahaha!!!!

From the court inside Veterans Stadium to adjudicate all the fights to the Mardi Gras riot on South Street, Philly is a typically violent NE city. I feel bad for the violence, but not surprised.

The only thing that gun control does in a big city is make sure that only the criminals and thugs are armed. They clearly have ways of smuggling in handguns. The rest of us just have to lock our doors and cross our fingers.
