3. Crash - What a crazy movie - By far the best "Hollywood" movie I have seen in quite a long time. I recommend it highly.
For me, I'll take Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory- the original with Gene Wilder. Jonny Depp may have tried to capture a similar feeling, but was no way close.

Johnny Depp did not try to recapture what Wilder did in the first. He tried to capture more of the character in the book. It seems that the author wasn't terribly pleased with the Wilder version. (The book is darker then the original movie)
