Dancin' over rocks n' roots!
It's that time of year again and I am quite the bake-aholic....what's your favorite cookie? I've taken the liberty of posting a few standards, but I know there are more out there!!!

(Yes, this could go in the food forum, but I know it'll see more traffic here and there's a recipe thread in the food forum where we can paste our favorite recipes too!!!).

Normally, a good old fashioned choco chip cookie will do me just fine, but molasses/ginger snaps are a close second. This time of year, nothing comes close to a peanut butter blossom though.

Snickerdoodles!

My mom makes awsome snickerdoodles and now when I have them they always remind me of warm christmas mornings with my mom and my sister when I was little.

My other fave is shortbread cookies

Choco chip with Reeses Pieces thrown in......mmmmmmmmmmmm

a friend of Mandi's made her some cookies that had pecans and cherries in it (they have the color of shortbread cookies, but they're really, really soft). they are pretty damn good.

If made correctly, Snickerdoodles! Depending on the recipe, Peanut Butter, or old school Toll House Chocolate Chip!

Then ofcourse there is the dreaded girl scout shortbread (DEADLY!!!)

oatmeal raisin was my poll selection but a good (dark) chocolate chip w/ nuts is way way up there too.

btw white chocolate is awful spooge and doesn't deserve the word 'chocolate' in it, as the cocoa bean has no part.
