I bought a 26" pimp rim and a single speed pimp hub, 36 hole, 3x, went to built up the wheel and found out the spokes were too long (254mm)

So between atomlab and the online spoke calculator, i got two different values. 252 and 249 mm.

has anybody built up a 3x, 36h atomlab wheel before, or can definitively tell me whether I should cut my spokes down to 252 or 249mm?
Thanks.

that is good to hear. Since it is my first time building a wheel, I was worried a 3mm difference was enough to screw it up....well, i suppose 1.5 if i just cut them in between the two sizes.

but yea. thanks!

yea. both flanges are the same. im essentially building a front wheel. i already built the wheel up once only to realise when tensioning that the spokes were too long.

cut and rethread. those length differences wont even come close to the butting, if you have butted spokes
