Hi!!! I'm anxious to ride those trails as well. Suntop is soooooooo fast! The trails are technically open all year to the best of my knowledge, but aren't ridable due to snow levels until late June for Suntop, but possibly earlier for Ranger Creek (late May, early June).
Though the snow is melting fast, you can usually gage where everything in that area is by the time you start hearing of people looping Ranger Creek/Palisades since they are a little lower and in that area. Sometime in early June is the "norm".
From reports elsewhere, there are a lot of trees down and I'm sure those areas are just as bad.
Skookum/White River are snow free but in really bad shape due to downed trees and washouts on Skookum.
on 410 there is a memorial to his clumbsyness. Its called "skookum Falls". I thought it was pretty cool they make a memorial to that. They also installed a cool water feature to honor him too...
