I'd bet the owner got a frame two sizes too small, to save weight. It is not like bikes of that nature ever get ridden.

Throwing in all the necessary "ifs", how bad ass would it be to have 14lbs full suspension bike? That's just under 11lbs lighter than my current bike.

Like that thing ever gets ridden off road.

Each to their own, but no point in having a light dually for road riding.
    Silly, I think.

Sort of like preffering sausage over bacon...

I bet the guy that built this bike loves the sausage.

No knobs on the tires and a road cassette save to weight.

I'm getting pissed off just looking at this ridiculousness.

I run my seat that high. I have long legs.
However, the stem is a bit short for somebody that tall....

Looks like they made too many compromises to save wait. Looks uncomfortable, weak and flexy.

Litespeed has been making high end Ti frames for years (including a DH bike). The last thing you have to worry about is it breaking. You should be worrying about your bank account instead.

There is a lot of stuff on that bike that could end up snapped, broken or shattered, but not that frame.

Funny you mention the Litespeed DH bike, I saw it not to long ago.

what passes for cross country races I am surprized bikes like this aren't used. I remember a few years ago in a pro NORBA short track event a guy won with his cycle cross bike.
