Another busy day in the office, another swazzy social ride after work if storms permit. Ibis demo truck will be at a Fells parking lot this afternoon, should be fun. I wantz some of them stickers.

Morning Poo Flingers! This has been a tough week for the community I live/work in. One of my students (15) was killed in a work accident on Saturday so we have been helping cope and planning his memorial (tomorrow) and wake (today). It's been very emotional and completely draining to say the least.

HUGE T-storms, torrential downpours, hail, winds, tornados, etc. have been plaguing us as well, but the power is finally back on so hopefully the worst is over and I can go ride my bike.

Golfed last night in the work league of one of our customers. Weird how different courses play when you play from shorter tees.

The house sellers are supposed to be returning the inspection objection resolutions today. I'll be curious to see what they come back with.

Rode to/back Palmer Park from the house yesterday. Legs are smoked and I'm starving. Yard work catch up day.

Debating doing a pre ride of the Gear Jammer this weekend with a buddy who's actually going to ride the event.

About 45km or so, not sure on elevation gain, but I'm sure there's plenty. What am I becoming???

50-minute run last night. New shoes make a difference. Did 5.85 miles holding 8:55 pace. Fastest I have done in a non-sprint run. I could have kept going but I had to get Haley from daycare (and that was the workout schedule). I don't think I have smiled while running in a long time, possibly ever.

A mama cat had Kittens in a bag of leaves in the alley next to my house. I have been leaving food for Mom on the Lawn Furniture next to the nest. When Momma leaves the kittens cry and my Cat makes a noise and they momentarily stop crying. My Cat is quite entertained by the whole thing. He really wants to go outside and kill something. I can tell....

I got waved off of the road, pulled over and got to hang out with a funny cop for a few minutes.

I was driving and the first wave of motorcycles merged going balls out, I ended up behind them but ahead of the group, one of them waaaaay off the front slowed, waved me off to the right shoulder and told me what was going on, then said as soon as the group passes I could go on my way.
