Was going to cut out early and ride Sycamore Canyon on the way home from work, but that's on fire, so I guess I'll put in a full 8hrs today?

Saw a bear on my run last night, and by "saw" I mean it was RIGHT FUCKING THERE. If I took one step to my left I could have smacked it on the nose. I was running along on the rail trail completely zoned out and didn't see it, and when I got to within two feet of it, I startled it and it grunted at me, which in turn scared the living shit out of me and I jumped. I just kept going though and shouted to the walkers behind me, "Heads up, bear!" Then I saw a young couple walking their cat on a leash. lmao

I used to ride there with ghostrider and t-dog when I was working in SoCal.
When you want to out in 20-30 miles with a decent ocean breeze the whole time, it's tough to beat. Well, except for today, it's all covered in firetrucks and phoscheck today.
