At this time the last couple of years there was so much "next year's" stuff coming out that all kinds of deals were around. Heck I got a Z150 off eBay for $200 under list in August of last year. Best deal I've found for an '04 Z1 or '04 Firefly is still mid $500s. Are the new models late or was there simply not an over-abundance of '04 forks produced in the first place. There's nothing on eBay this year.

damn, too slow on the comparisonpricing.com thing. One thing is that if fork companies had too much left over last year, they may have made less this year. Take your chances with waiting for closeouts and you may come up empty handed... :nopity:

I think in years past people have been selling their near new forks because they had problems and they hoped that buying the newer model wouldn't have the problems. Maybe there weren't as many problems in '04 products as in years past.

If you dont sell the forks you ordered for the season..

You take less/no forks the next season..

You dont make any money giving stuff away :(

And you do want to make some money or you'll have to stop and get a job :(
