for the time being i'm running an avid adapter but i need that one for another bike now

any suggestions? I'm in So Cal, and the two shops that usually have a bunch of small parts like these don't have this one

Any shop can get it for you through BTI or QBP in a couple of days, but I highly doubt that your neighborhood bike shop would stock it (unless you were in the UK).

Universal has them in stock (part# HBMB)

I have this, it's an Avid adapter 185 rear, a unique one from around 2000 or 2001 that isn't cheap cast but instead is machined from a chunk. Let me know if it would help.

Wiggles or chainreaction they stock nearly all hope parts and as stated in some other threads it seems shipping and service woks quite well for US based customers
