come on, recall your French, people

anyway, I still like our Pelotons. Hardware price is in the proper realm compared to Wahoo and the like, Bike+ has a real strain sensor, and the wife likes the classes when she hops on now and then. These days I'm mostly just doing Just Ride on it with something else playing on an iPad to entertain me as I spin along at very easy intensities.

A $1500 bike that goes nowhere that requires a paid subscription to do anything different than a $500 bike that goes nowhere.

I wait for the e-Peleton version. You know, it is the same amount of exercise, you just can go nowhere longer.

I want a nordic track version

and then one driven by my manly bench presses

basically every version of drive that's not the one already figured out centuries ago that involves oars.

you will now get Taiwanese junk and like it

"Peloton said in May that it had just $879 million in cash in the bank at the end of the quarter, which has left it “thinly capitalized,” McCarthy said."

Color me surprised that an exercise bike company has $879M in the bank, yet that's still not enough to sustain themselves.

Similar things are happening in the Zwift world. Zwift was planning on releasing an IRL tron bike, but it got killed alongside a significant number of their staff as people are going back outside. If you were in the market, now is a great time to buy a trainer...apparently Saris just killed off some of their team and liquidated a bunch of stock.

After my first time surfing, and poor strength in this manner, this isn’t looking too bad. I could also just swim/surf more too.
