Anyone know where I can find a 14T cog for a 1/8" chain? I'm going to be running this on a shimano type cassette hub (hadley 108pt). The only one out there i've come across is the redline steel cog. Any other ones?? Just got an odyssey Vermont Sprocket and a KMC 710SL, now i need a cog!

thanks in advance

The Surly one is real nice! That's what I run on my Hadley ss hub w/ 710SL and an eastern medusalite wheel.
I've used the 14t and 13t... but about to switch to a 12T gusset.

Shimano makes one, as does Surly. Here is a link to the Surly one....any bike shop can get it through either BTI or QBP. http://www.bikeparts.com/search_results.asp?id=BPC311023

Hope that helps
I've looked at that, but when I researched it on the Surly site, it says:
Our cogs will work with 6-9-speed 3/32" chains, although we recommend the inherently updated quality of an 8 or 9 speed chain. They are also available in every increment from 13-22t, so you can select that perfect gear.
I was told that it is not good to run a 3/32" spaced cog with a 1/8" chain. Is this true?

as far as i can tell, it works fine.

surly is a XC mtb company and lots of those guys think there is no reason to run a 1/8" chain anymore. Which is debatable.

I am running a regular 14t cog broken out of a cassette on my Hadley 108 point hub with a 1/8" half link chain. No problems so far. Once I figure out what gear ratio I want I will be getting a King wide based cog though to save wear and tear on the Ti cassette body.

You can run a regular 3/32" cog with a 1/8" chain. It may move slightly side to side but will be OK.

Look into a Mosh cog. I have a 12t 1/8" and I saw a 13t and 14t when I bought mine, so I know they exist.

You know where I can find this? I checked the mosh site and did not see a shimano cassette type cog. Thanks
