I'm building lots of "north-shore" type drops and I'm tired of paying 3 bux for an 8 foot plank at home depot. Help me out guys!! thanks

Make friendly-like with a construction contractor who has access to demolitioned materials (or excess new materials if you're lucky). Other than that you can use some alternative means of creating NS type ladders by using fallen timber that isn't rotted. There's some really good resources out there on the net on how to build NS style trails. Here's a good place to start....
