Which candidate best matches your views? A Quiz.

A selectsmart quiz.

The quiz doesn't simply force you to choose between 2 positions. In the case where there are only pro and con positions available, you can choose "neither." In some cases where there are multiple choices available, you can select as many or as few as you feel apply to you. Most questions are also weighted by a slider that allows you to indicate how important that particular issue is to you.

2008 SelectSmart.com Presidential Candidate Selector
This selector has been very well received by the press and the public . However, if you believe that this selector is unfair or could be better, we invite your criticisms and comments. We even provide free programming so you can build your own candidate selector that you can feature on your blog or website. If you are or represent a candidate and wish to comment on this selector, post your thoughts here. This selector was updated in January of 2008.
Of course, the quiz is only as accurate, nuanced and representative as those who made/framed it and/or how truthfully each pol portrays his/her views.

My results: (I was disappointed to see Stephen Colbert fair so poorly)

So you might have to think for yourself this year? Or are you still going to blindly vote for whoever Fox News declares as usual?

If the choice is McCain/Obama... then I am not voting at all.

I will vote against Hillary though if it works out that way.

I almost agree with that. I like McCain, I just wish he were 15 years younger. My fear is he goes insane after the first year and things get worse.

McCain and some ex-Bush adviser:

I guess the problem was the quiz didn't have the question "Is it imperative that the president toes the party line, refuses to speak to people from another political party, and takes marching orders on all issues from radio talk show hosts?"

:imstupid:
If i wanted a president to accommodate liberal political views i'd vote democrat.
