I have a huge cup of French Press coffee that looks like motor oil every morning. Then on my drive to work, I have protein powder mixed with 1% milk. But that is an afterthought, the coffee is where its at.

Best breakfast ever is a big omelette and hashbrowns after a night of drinking. The hard part is to wake up for breakfast before you're too hung over so that you can sleep it off after the meal.

Other than right before an epic ride, I almost never eat breakfast. Adding 15 minutes more sleep time to get me up to 4 hours total is way more valuable. Black coffee or grapefruit juice is where it's at.

There's a good reason for this, I grew up in "apple country" up in northern california. Dozens of apple ranches were literally right next to where I lived, I even worked at a few during summers. As a matter of fact, coffee has changed my tastes for other food and beverages.
I use to drink coke, sweet tea, and all that crap.
But once I started drinking my coffee black all the time, I got off sugar all together. I don't even like sweet beers at all.
And you guessed it, Guinness is now my favorite choice of suds.
OK I had to run out to the kitchen and get a fresh cup-o-joe...

There's this place in Oakland, Rudy's Can't Fail Cafe, and they have what they call a Shakin' Jesse; a chocolate milkshake with esspresso and guiness...mmmmm yum, and it does give you the shakes!!!
