What do any of you guys think of KHS. Im thinking of buying a 2007 KHS 004 for $480 or a 104 for $740. I dont really careabout the higher quality parts. so whats the better buy?

If you don't care about the higher quality parts then get cheaper one as they are the same frame.

I would get a hardtail.

I dont know. i think the full suspension is more..me. i tend to do some things that are uncomforatble and bumpy with a hardtail.

Go with the hardtail , on the lower end bikes the difference between a hardtail and a dually is huge . the full suspension will not be as durable.

Definitely go with the hardtail and become a smoother rider. Low-end FS frames are heavy and will hold you back.
I've had KHS FS frames in the past and they require constant attention to keep the pivots tight.
