I managed to leave my rear maxle from my 08 Cove shocker at the last race (packed up in a hurry and left it on the ground).

Anyway, i ordered a new one but this turned up and it is different

Can i run the maxle lite version or should i send it back and chase up the original style?

they are compatible, and the new one is far better. preload is adjusted with an allen key and doesn't come loose, the qr bit has a metal washer to slide on which makes it loads smoother.
