It wasn't it was his reply to a closed thread that made him a candidate.

I think his good morning thread was at least mentionable because he stayed up all night so he could apply for a job the next day i.e. what company would want to hire someone with such unpredictable sleep habits (note: my last statement is rhetorical. I can think of a number of weird jobs that would value that in an employee, my point was simply that the odds are that the job he is applying for wouldn't appreciate that he stayed up all night before applying).
