Well Ive had this truck for awhile now and finally got some bigger tires on it and a leveling kit. I am now having the local welding shop make me a bike rack for the back so I can load 4-5 DH bikes with the tailgate up. Does anyone have some pics of the chairlift bike racks at Whislter. I want to be able to load the bikes whole at an angle. The welding shop just wants something to sort of go by.

I'm actually needing to get a photo of it too for our local ski resorts as reference for the "future". Anybody got a few good video stills from Earthed. I remember seeing some really good footage on there.

Next time your in Knoxville, bring your Soul Cylces and we'll ride some at Bigfoot and my trails. Now that DH season is over its time to DJ and goof-off.

If I can see one I will take the pic. But like Is aid everything has been converted for winter. They used to have them on the front of the first aid truck but it has been removed...I will keep an eye out.

He can put bikes in fully assembled with a bed extender. I've got a decent rack that I'll take some pics of. I can fit three DH bikes with plenty of room in my Frontier. I actually will probably mod it so I can fit 4. I wouldn't recommend using metal for the rack though. The weight will add up quick, a PVC pipe, or wood is lighter and still just as tough.

My girlfriend took this picture of our bikes on the lift at Blue Mountain in Ontario, Canada. Blue Mountain was an Intrawest resort so these were based off the Whistler model. However, these are attached to the same line the bucket-style gondolas run on so it disconnects from the line at the loading hut. It allows the liftees enough time to load 6 bikes. I'll try and find a better picture that shows the whole setup.

Thanks but not quite what Im looking for. The bikes have to load at an angle so I can shut the tailgate. The F150 tailgate has some sort of mechaism in it to make it feal light when you open an close it. It you leave the tailgate down it bounces up and down on bumps when driving. I have tied the tailgate down before with a bunge but that is sort of getto. I would like to load the bike at an angle and close the tailgate. If I had 4-5 Whistler bike racks mounted at an angle to a frame in the bed of the truck that would be perfect. Ill keep looking. Maybe the welding shop can just come up with something simple and effective.
