For those of you who have already been up to Whistler, how are the trails? Are they all open? Also, when does Garbanzo open? I might be going on Memorial Day weekend.

Garbonzo is scheduled to open June 26th.
Opening weekend I would say that 75-80% of the trails were open.
Nothing west of A-line was open i.e. Dirt Merchant, Crabapple Hits etc...

according to the website, garbanzo opens june 26. i'd like to get up there that weekend, but i'm hoping to make a trip before then as well. it sounds like some of the new trails open in mid june, but i'd like to hear from someone up there. roasted?

To be honest I am out till june so I haven't been up...damn hamstring...but I do know for now there is supposed to be 3 trails on garbonzo lift with a few more added throughout the year (upwards of 5 if all goes well). As for the types of trails and what they offer...no real idea except for rumours last year of another 'jump' trail.
Also in theory over 20 minute dh runs from top to bottom...oh my hands
