I thought it was usually the 2nd or 3rd week in May....might be April this year cause of the fast melting snow pack...but that could've changed...

last year was May 17th, but if i remember correctly it really depends alot on snowpack and how clear the lower mountain is

Ya don't count on april, we've been getting dumped on up here.... Looks like it will be a late ski season and a even later opening day for whistler.
