Oh yeah... Never seen that crashed so well before. You really want to get messed up, go around the right of the container, and boost the lip (if it's still there) rather than hit the rock roll... I forget what movie they do that in, but I saw another guy attempt it an almost paint a tree with his guts.
Pro tip: Don't do that.

Yeah, watched a buddy of mine clear 3/4 of the container because he thought he had to pedal (a lot) into the step-on ramp. Needless to say he overshot the tranny by a fair bit as well.

That is a long drop - good thing not more happened. Some years ago I scraped a good amount off my helmet sliding down something like that in Whistler before I was able to stop.
Did that my first time down there... pretty much exactly that. I remember being in mid air thinking "there must be a tranny around here somewhere.... right?"
