The Whiteface Mountain Bike Park will be hosting the:
2nd Annual Fall Classic X-C Challenge on Saturday September 12 at 12 noon.

Online registration will be on Bike Reg.com by Saturday 9-5. Race information will also be posted on www.downhillmike.com.

We will be using a course very much like last years. Classic Adirondack single-track. Fun climbs, fast downhills and great prizes for all.

This is a USA Cycling Permitted Sanctioned Event - All USA Cycling and UCI Rules will be followed.

Cross Country Race starts at 12:00 noon on Saturday September 12, 2009.
There will be no field limit of riders, so bring your friends!

Cross Country course will be on the lower part of the mountain only. There will be 1 course for all categories. Pros will do five laps, Category 1 will do four laps, Category 2 will do three laps & Category 3 will do two laps.
Note. Open practice & course inspection will be available on x-c course until 1 hour prior to the start of the race.

Only the above listed races are permitted and sanctioned by USA CYCLING. No other races or activities at the event are sanctioned by USA CYCLING.

Categories are as follows for the Cross Country competition:
Open pro men
Open pro women
Category 1, 2 & 3 in age groups under/35, and over/35. Category 1 women, Category 2 women & Category 3 women

The top 3 places in all categories will win prizes from our sponsors.
Awards ceremony to held immediately after the race at approx. 3:00 pm

Race will cost $30.00 to register online or 35.00 at the mountain, and will include all trail fees & USAC license fees.

Race registration will be set up at the venue starting on Friday 9-11-09 at 10:00 am ending 1 hour before the race on Saturday at 11:00 am.
