Not that all of the others have strong cases against them, but I went with Sharpton because he is a profiteer and harms the cause which he claims to be a champion of with his "us vs. them" mentality.
Profiteering off of serious issues such as racial equality is wosre than being an ignorant and cruel bum like Vick or a fundamentalist wack-job like PETA extremists.
I could care less who moderates this forum, but good job guys.
well, I picked PETA cuz I just don't think Sharpton is taken all that seriously and has no power to take away my rights.
Plus, PETA just really fvcking annoys the ever living crap out of me. It's like they don't think clearly as if some super money shot blew their collective brains out of their ears.
I hear you, screw PETA, but Al keeps people hating each other while hiding behind a veil of righteousness. PETA just gets appeased from time to time but is mainly dismissed and mocked.
Ever see that South Park episode where they were screwing the laamas and having mutant babies? High-larious. That's what I think of when they're brought up.
Vick isn't even the worse felon to be in the league. If Vick comes out of this a better person and shows true remorse for his actions, he should be welcomed back to society. Ray Lewis had a hand in a murder and was let off with a pat on the hand. The Ray Lewis of now is very active in his community and is known to devote all his energy to two things, one being football, and the other being charitable endeavors. He is proof that people can earn a second chance.
Al Sharpton, while he has done some harm, is a necessary evil. At the very least, he makes sure that we (society) don't forget that racism is prevalent in today's world. At worst, he unnecessarily polarizes issues and makes himself the center of attention. No good.
PETA. If they had their way, they'd put Vick in jail for life, or have him publicly hung. With regards to dog fighting, the general public is already up-in-arms about it. 72.6% of all citizens own pets: they're obviously pissed. Do we really need an organization out there that campaigns for animals' rights? It's not as if we were going to let Vick and his hommies go free. If that were the case, however, PETA would be playing a good hand. But seeing as how that were never going to happen, f**k 'em.
