Would a system like this go?

Just loose ideas, feel free to add on or say why it wouldnt work...

Each state vote a presidential candidate.
Each taxpayer pay a certain amount every year for election funding
Candidates dont have to pay for their campaign and each get a certain amount of airtime, newsplay etc(EVENLY spread) If someone breaks any of the "rules" they are instantly disqualified.

I think if we could get a system like this in place, we would have a better chance of getting a non billionaire candidate who may have a grip on reality..

I think most of us here have a healthy disrespect for both candidates, just some have more disrespect for one than the other. Except for N8 he wants to be Shrub's jail boyfriend.

I've never voted FOR someone. It's always been against someone. I figure that if two guys want the job, I don't want either, but it's not like ham sandwich is a choice, y'know?
