F*ck me, Michael Moore has a lot to answer for. Develop your own documentary styles you friggin mooches. The wry commentary, the slick editing, the just enough rope to hang yourselves interviews, all classic Moore. Except Moore is the king all these copy-cats can't do it quite as well.
Food for thought: I see "College Republican" on a person's CV, and I won't work with them if at all possible. There isn't a bigger "I'm a self-absorbed asshole" flag in the entire world.
I actually think it's pretty funny (for the first few minutes; gets pretty tiresome), but only because I've asked lots of people that same question and gotten the same "oh, ****" looks and stammered answers.
VB's right, though...it's a total Moore wannabe, stylistically.

I think the reason why Moore is so successful is that we have become excellent liars. Moore catches people offguard, and you hear the honest, not the practiced response.
All these College Republicans were asked if they supported the war, probably without any hint that the interviewer was against the war. After they gave their usual lines, then the interviewer asked point blank, "Are you going to enlist, and if not, why?"
No, the tools asking critically if America "has the stomach" for this and comparing it to WWII need to sack up and say goodbye to the "anything for money" parties down at Delta Sig so they can go take part in this cause in which they so fervently believe.
Being pro-war is one thing...believing what some of these guys say while sitting at a party in DC without ever having your ass on the line is another.

"Does America have the stomach?" means "Are we willing as a nation to institute a draft full of loopholes for white college kids and send the spooks and the spics overseas to die for our war fantasies?
we need to send a few white guys over there to get street cred for local elections yrs later. otherwise we'd have too many of "those types" running office & not tending to our fields & pools.
