I'm a pretty big hope fan myself, but I still say go with the sram/e13 setup.

Look at what parts have seen better days or where you can get the most noticable difference.
If your current m4s are good you will get little benifit upgrading, even more so with the headset.

Your dad is paying for 1/2 a dorado  He should consider investing in a tutor instead.
Maybe his dad figures that the tutors are already a lost cause and at this point he's just trying to get junior out of the house for a while.

I would get what you need. Is the drivetrain working? Then don't replace it, get the e13 and headset, etc.

Given the two choices, if the M4's work fine and you like them, keep them and start your new rig fresh with a new drivetrain and headset. Maybe keep your chain guide and put that cash toward some new brake pads and tires or something else that will wear out sooner rather than later.

Honestly, given how little time you apparently spent on your post I don't know why any of us are taking the time to give you any advice.

Yes Grasshopper, with RM, as in life, you get out of it what you put into it and friend, you didn't put much into that post.

It's not that big a deal but come on, is it really that much harder to type "anything" than "nething"? "Know" than "noe"? One more letter turns them into real words!

You're not saving time, you just think it's cool and we don't, so there.

"Abbreviated?" Try "misspelled." Also try using some punctuation or capitalization once in a while. It's really not that much of an effort.

You'll find we're pretty much a bunch of geeky, stodgy, anal-retentive jerks (of all ages) when it comes to grammar and spelling around here. We don't usually take anything seriously unless it's presented seriously and coherently...that means little to no net-speak. It's just how the poplulation of the board is; however, it's probably also the best board on the internet to get quality information. Just depends on what your priorities are and how willing you are to fit in around here.

Hope you got some good information, and I think you made a good decision given your situation...

You might also learn to recognize parody.

And it's "hypocrites."

i am sorry for being such a noob on this forum..thanks for the comment from you MikeD...its a fairenough comment and i will stop "misspelling" and be a civilized person..lol..i m being serious..but really i do think that this forum is way above all the other ones and also i dont think my "misspelling" is cool, i just thought that it might save time, but as OGRipper said, i am just dropping one letter, so it does not make any differnce! thanks for pointing that out and also thanks for the input! i am getting the stuff today!

One more vote for the Sram stuff. This summer most of my bikes switched over to Sram drivelines from shimano stuff (I worked at a shop this summer) and it works so much better than shimano it's not even funny. Especially on the full squish bikes. Not that I don't think new brakes wouldn't be cool but I've got m4's on one bike and mono4's on another and besides looking cooler they work about the same.
