Yeah, the crazy instability is what made me go back and get a second doctor. He didn't bother with an MRI. He said...it'll just cost you more money for me to tell you it's gone...which I can tell just by pulling on your knee.

I don't have the receipt still. We had a ceremony and buried it in a pagan ritual.

As for the cost, grand total on mine...$15,902, counting the brace. It's still in my mind. The screws in my knee are gold. So even if I'm dead...my knee will always increase in value! :thumb:

Yo stinky,
I smellin ya.
I am still around. I just got back from Orlando and need to ride my bike.
I have all these pent up smart azz remarks from not being on RM all week.
Like Butch's knee surgery cost more than yours because they had to use 3 gallons of "Nair" to remove all the fur before they could operate.
Welcome back.

just because you get stares from other men in the gym marveling at your boyishly bare legs and bottom, don't hate on a real man.
If Jeremy went to Neverland ranch, they'd give him a Fastpass to the master suite.

Bwaahahahahah NICE! good to here from you man...

That was just the bill from the hospital, for supplies, anesthetics and use of the facility... I have a matching 12k bill from the Dr for his 'services'

Woah, I just had ACL surgery on Monday!

I'm currently strapped into a CPM machine, watching television right now.

Right now I'm at level 70, so far no pain so I may bump it up more.

The only thing that sucks so far are the damn crutches and boredom.

Hrm... Didnt have one of those... I had a wrap-around ice pack that was attached to a cooler that pumped cold water thru the wrap. Had to use that all night, and most of all day for thw first week. Hated it. It was terrible, crutches suck, I hate them too. Those were 2 boring weeks. I think I looked at just about all the porn, movies, and funny pictures on the iternent by the 3rd day...

What extent was your injury, how was it repaird?

Yo BMXman, you registered one day earlyer than me! Howdy BB, and the poster formerly know as bomberz1qr20

Yeah i know what you mean by the cooler thing. They didn't give me one of those. They sent me home after the surgery with this machine that basically bends my knee passively. I started using it immediately. I strap my leg into it for like 6 to 8 hours a day.

I tore my ACL goofing off like 3 years ago. I finally went through with the surgery. I decided to have a cadaver ligament put in, allograft or whatever they call it. I had the operation on Monday, and I'm already going crazy. There's only so many movies and tv shows I can take...

I went to the park yesterday, that was fun...sitting outside, rather than in the house..

How have you been recovering?

Recovery is goin great. Im doing PT twice a week with the physical terrorist. Thats goin alright. Dont have one of those spiffy passive movemnt machines, Althought I do have my road bike set up omn the trainer to pedal on. I actually have left the house and ridden the past two nights. Just kindawnt out and pedaled around on the HT for a few hours. Goin well. It feels 100% more stable. Im still having a fair ammount of paint on the inside of my knee, from one of the mensicus tears... Also, the who outside side(RIGHT) knee is numb. Still numb from surg. DR says live with it. Not a bi deal, just feels werid some time. Some of the people who I have talked to. who also had the Pettellar autograph have numbness in the same area.... But yeah. its been just over 2months now, and I feel great.

I will be spending a lot of time the in gym tho, I lost a lot of muscle mass off my calf, even more off my quads. Some of this could have had to do with the fact I waited almost 6months before I could have the surgery. Even though I was working it out then, I lost a lot of the 3 weeks following surgery.

Keep up the good work, shoot me a pmif you have any Qs
